Clients We Can Support

  • Those with an eating disorder/disordered eating
  • Anyone wanting to be done with diets and explore being an intuitive eater
  • Those who are looking for body image care
  • Adults ready to stop fighting their body and start listening to it

My Philosophy

My work is rooted in Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size® (HAES), with a trauma-informed, weight-neutral lens. I work to create a brave, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their relationship with food and body at a pace that feels sustainable - moving away from diet culture and toward more flexibility, self-trust, and peace.

I work collaboratively with clients to create practical strategies that empower them to feel more connected, embodied, and at peace with eating and their bodies.

I really value collaboration and look forward to working as a team. I love to build a team for each client depending on needs and referring a client to us means that we'll be in touch and will work hand in hand with you!

Whether your clients are struggling with an eating disorder, disordered eating, or chronic dieting, or are interested in exploring intuitive eating, body image work, or their relationship with movement, I'm here to support them.

What is Weight Inclusive Care?

Weight-inclusive care means creating spaces free of size stigma, bias, and shame - recognizing that all bodies deserve dignity and respect, and that health can't be reduced to a number on a scale. When clients want to build health-enhancing habits, we focus on those behaviors directly, without centering weight as the measure of progress.

The Crooked Carrot sits on the traditional lands of the Diné Bikéyah (Navajo), Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute), and Pueblos people, both past and present, now called Durango, Colorado. I acknowledge the wounds of the past in hopes of being able to heal for a better tomorrow.
