Schedule a Free Discovery Session

Wildflowers with mountains in the background

Every journey begins with a single step. Let's start the conversation

Here's what happens next

  1. Choose your date and time and answer a few questions in the form.
  2. Once you submit the form, you'll receive an email confirmation with the session details - including a video link if you opted for a video session.
  3. The purpose of this 30-minute session is to help us determine if we're a good fit to work together and answer any questions you have about what nutrition counseling might look like for you.
  4. This is a no-strings-attached discovery session. No pressure.

"Never, at any moment, did I feel like Libby was judging me and it was very freeing. She asked such insightful questions that allowed me to really think through why I had been doing things a certain way for so long. She is so kind and you can tell she just wants to help."

You should book this Session if you...

  •  You find yourself stuck in the cycle of being "all on" and eating "clean" or being "all off" saying "screw it" and binge-eating
  • You've tried all the diets and "lifestyle" plans, but nothing seems to work long-term
  • You want to be able to have your favorite foods around and enjoy them without feeling out of control
  • You're tired of wasting precious mental energy thinking about what you've eaten and what you're going to eat
  • You crave a more peaceful, present, and spontaneous life, free of constant food guilt and body-shame

"Libby is kind, an excellent listener, and a master at questioning--she often had me "discovering" insights through self reflection by way of answering her thoughtful questions."

LET'S WORK TOGETHER!

How it works

I specialize in providing services using an anti-diet, values-centered, & body liberation approach for those who struggle with disordered eating / eating disorders and/or chronic illness. In addition, I am also gender-affirming, weight-inclusive, and trauma-informed.

1. Schedule your free discovery session

Here we'll chat for 30 minutes via video or phone call about why you reached out, your goals, how I can best support you, and schedule your first session.

2. Complete intake forms

This helps me learn more about you and will serve as the starting point for our initial session.

3. Attend your first session

During this session we'll go at your own pace. I'll have some questions but recognize meeting a new provider can feel daunting. I'm here to take things slow or dive right in. I can't wait to get to know you!

4. Attend follow-ups

This is where the bulk of where the emotional work comes in. We'll explore your evolving relationship with food and your body and I'll provide support for your journey toward a more positive relationship with food, body image and self.

The Crooked Carrot sits on the traditional lands of the Diné Bikéyah (Navajo), Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute), and Pueblos people, both past and present, now called Durango, Colorado. I acknowledge the wounds of the past in hopes of being able to heal for a better tomorrow.
