Amazing 5-Minute Tahini Sauce - a creamy and flavor-punching sauce that's the perfect addition to roasted veggies, salads or even with chicken.

Hi friends! Hope you had a great 4th of July!

We had the good fortune to enjoy the fourth by a lovely lake. After plenty of rain and some nice chunks of hail, the weather cleared up by nightfall. Just in time for some colorful explosions. And boy did the fireworks just keep coming!

Of course, I forgot to snap any photos, but sometimes it’s good just to enjoy the moment. Don’t you think?

I love summer because it’s all about gathering with friends and family under the sun. Summer is also a time for potlucks and BBQs – which I love because I always like to try new foods and taste the yummy creations of others.

Speaking of yummy concoctions, you have to try our Amazing 5-Minute Tahini Sauce. It’s the perfect balance of creamy, tangy, sweet and delicious. And it goes with just about anything.

Hi there! Below you’ll find affiliate links to great products that we enjoy using in our own kitchen.

So many ways to enjoy this Tahini Sauce!

  • Marinade for chicken
  • Pasta salad dressing anyone?
  • Use as a standard salad dressing on literally every salad
  • Drizzle over roasted vegetables (or grilled! OMG this would be so good over grilled veggies)
  • Or even better – a salad with roasted vegetables like our Roasted Vegetables and Farro Salad

Seriously, this sauce is the bomb. Ready to make it? Let’s do it!

1 - Combine all ingredients (except water) in a mason jar and cover with a tight-fitting lid. Alternatively, combine in a small bowl.

2 - Shake or whisk to combine.

3 - Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the mixture reaches your desired consistency. Depending on what I’m using it for, I’ll keep it thicker for a marinade, or thinner for a salad dressing.

And that’s it! It’s an easy sauce that adds a punch of flavor to your favorite dish.

Amazing 5-Minute Tahini Sauce: Tips, Tricks, and Tools

This Tahini sauce is very easy and doesn’t require many tools, but a few tips and tricks will streamline the process.

Tools needed: Mason jar - I like to use an 8oz mason jar. Just put the lid on and shake to combine, couldn’t be easier. Oh and store your leftover sauce in the same jar, so no extra dishes - love that!

Tahini: Tahini is the peanut butter of sesame seeds and is very popular in Eastern Mediterranean cooking, often used in hummus. You should be able to find tahini in either the ethnic food section or the nut butter section. If you’re not making your own, look for one is a glass jar.

Nutritional Yeast: I buy my nutritional yeast in the bulk section, but you also may find it in the baking aisle or health foods section. Never had nutritional yeast? It’s an inactive yeast that adds in a cheesy, nutty flavor. It’s vegan and delicious.

We hope you love this Amazing 5-Minute Tahini Sauce!

It’s quick, super flavorful, and a great addition to your next salad, marinade, roasted or grilled vegetables, really just about anything...
